Do you like this story?
It Shows In Your Face
You don't have to say how you live each day
You don't have to say whether you work or play
A tried true barometer serves in its place
However you live, it shows in your face
The hate and deceit you hold in your heart
Will not stay its place where it got its start
For blood and sinew is a thin veil of lace
However you live it shows in your face
If your life have been kind and generous
and you live close to God..
And not for greed or fame but through his loving grace
You need not have to tell others,
it shows in your face.
My grandfather once told me that there were two kinds of people: those who
do the work and those who take the credit. He told me to try to be in the
first group; there was much less competition.
